A Bit About Debs
Debs Daniels was born into adventure—literally. Her first home was a boat rocking gently in San Diego Bay. That set the tone for a life of motion and meaning: four years across Europe, countless lessons in resilience, and a heart that refuses to look away when someone is hurting.
As a single foster mom, Debs learned about the effects of complex trauma, neglect, and abandonment. From pulling weeds at a Hungarian orphanage at sixteen to volunteering in a Turkish home for developmentally disabled at thirty, she has spent a lifetime stepping into hard places with an open mind and heart.
Today she writes from her Airstream camper, her rescued pups sprawled beside her, on a bookish journey across the US. She pours that same spirit into stories of adventure found family that whisper a quiet truth to every kid who has ever felt forgotten: You are a treasure. You belong.
Every book is a love letter to the lonely and a promise that family can be found in the most unexpected harbors.
